SoftSkills4EU

The 2-year project was led by RIC Novo mesto and we were working with 4 partners from Croatia, Italy, the Netherlands, and Cyprus. As the name suggests, the project is aimed at developing, checking, and demonstrating soft skills.

Duration
  1. 10. 2018- 30. 9. 2020

How to prove these competencies?

With our partners, we prepared a platform to give job seekers the opportunity to obtain an electronic badge with the Open Badge competency system. The platform is useful mainly for four target groups:

  1. Jobseekers,
  2. Migrants,
  3. Employers,
  4. Adult educators, career counsellors.

Objective

One of the main objectives of the project is to support the European Europass tool, namely, to develop a European soft skills passport with integrated OPEN BADGES (in line with the standards of other supporting Europass tools). We trained 15 career advisors (Soft Skills mentors) to use e-tools and award OPEN BADGES.

The use of the newly created e-tool is meant to make it easier for jobseekers (and other interested parties) to identify and evaluate their own soft skills and encourage them to strengthen their competencies.

On the other hand, this e-tool can also be useful for employers, to identify the soft skills of employees more efficiently and more easily in order to more efficiently relocate or find suitable staff.
